Welcome to Inspiring South Australia.

Most of us live with wild animal housemates, sometimes willingly and sometimes not. And very often we don’t even know our wild guests are there. Possum families in the roof, snakes in the walls, spiders in the window sill, birds in the garden and so much more. In this hilarious show, ZoodleTV’s science-comedy duo will again weave their magic through a series of viral animal videos. Things are not always what they seem!

Be entertained and awestruck by well-known Irish comedian Eddie Bannon and wildlife guru Professor Chris Daniels, as they banter about viral animal videos shared on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. For each clip, Eddie must guess what is happening and Chris then explains what’s really going on.

So, if you ever wondered why that cute koala is drinking water from a swimming pool, or spiders love to hang out in cars, or this kangaroo is madly banging on a glass door – this show is for you.

You’ll have lots of fun, but the clips you’ll see may also raise serious and complex issues, including human impacts on wildlife and how we can live with and protect our native animals.

“Absolutely wonderful!”, “Great fun, surprisingly informative”, and “A great opportunity to find out more about animals”, people attending our show have said.

Perhaps you even have a story to tell yourself and a video of wildlife that has decided to take up residence with you. Send it to us and we may include it in the show for Chris and Eddie to put through the comedy-science filter and tell you what’s really going on.

In any case, at the end of the show you will know a lot more about the complex behaviours of wildlife in your neighbourhood.

Entry is free, thanks to a National Science Week ‘25 Community grant. Suitable for ages 12 and up.

Any profits will be donated to a local wildlife charity to support animal conservation and research.
