Welcome to Inspiring South Australia.

Loading Events

The aim of the event is to expose local children to a wide diversity of science disciplines, thereby opening their eyes to future interests, study and career opportunities that they would otherwise not even considered.

The event itself is divided into two three-hour sessions (9.30am – 12.30pm and 1.00pm-4.00pm) so that as many families as possible can participate.

The main attraction will be fabulous science shows (chosen from Science Collective members including Prof Flint, Animals Anonymous, SciWorld & SciFiBri).  There will be three 30 minute science shows per session.

Other key attractions will be a robotics challenge, a virtual reality experience offered by IgniteVR, a UniSA info booth and a raft of hands-on science activities that involve rotocopters, O-wings rockets, pinwheels, bridge building, electric circuit building  and more.  A ‘toddler’s corner’ will providing sensory experiences for the youngest visitors.
